JOIN US AT THE ANNUAL MEETING IN OTTAWA.
Dear COA Members, Colleagues and Friends,
On behalf of your Executive, let me invite you to attend our 2012 Annual Meeting in Ottawa. It promises to be a truly outstanding educational and social experience with a broad selection of choices that should satisfy the needs of all those attending.
Dr. Steve Papp, our Local Arrangements Committee Chair, has committed to putting together an outstanding social program for our members and their families as they spend time in our nation’s capital. The venue for the meeting (Westin Hotel) is superb and close to many attractions including Parliament Hill, Byward Market, Rideau Canal and various parks, galleries and museums that are unique to Ottawa. The Annual Meeting will also include an outstanding educational program organized by Dr. Paul E. Beaulé and the Program Committee with extensive input from the subspecialty societies and in response to the specific requests of members. It will include an expanded number of symposia, a full subspecialty day, numerous instructional course lectures, debates and panel discussions, workshops and tips and tricks sessions. The Canadian Orthopaedic Residents’ Association and Canadian Orthopaedic Research Society will continue to have their meetings integrated into the Annual Meeting. The meeting promises to be valuable to all attendees regardless of their practice pattern or location, and promises to be an exceptional educational experience.
I am certain that this Annual Meeting will be extremely stimulating and your visit to Ottawa will be a truly memorable one both socially and educationally. Plan to attend the meeting from June 8th to 10th, 2012 (CORA meeting on June 7) and please bring along your family. There should be something to do and see for everyone. It will be a great opportunity to interact with other members, colleagues and friends. I look forward to seeing you in Ottawa next June!
Best personal regards,
